The University Events team creates and produces over 80 – 100 events each year to support the mission of Wake Forest University. The primary objective of University Events is for each event to reflect positively on Wake Forest. The University Event team partners with colleagues across campus to produce unique and annual events including the Distinguished Alumni Dinner, New Student Orientation, Center for Private Business Programs, and eight Volunteer Board and Council meetings.
The University Event team produces events for donor-focused events including regional, stewardship, recognition and Wake Will Lead Campaign events.
Established in 2006 by Wake Forest President Nathan O. Hatch, Voices of Our Time is a guest speaker series that brings some of the world’s leading thinkers to campus.
An initiative designed to engage members of the Wake Forest community with inspiring stories from leaders who represent a variety of professional paths, span a range of age groups and embrace diverse worldview.
New students are welcomed to campus with a Convocation in Wait Chapel during orientation weekend. The event features greetings from the University President, the Dean of the College and others.
Students, families, faculty members and friends gather to celebrate the culmination of a considerable academic accomplishment.
